Adyn in Heaven

Christmas Lights Cincinnati donated Christmas lights and installed them for Adyn Celebration of Life

Adyen Christmas Light

After a valiant fight against pediatric brain cancer, our little super hero, six year-old Adyn Elliot, graduated to heaven this past Saturday. Adyn’s Mom and Dad, Christina and Dan Weinel, along with his entire family, provided Adyn with the most loving home and the most amazing care anyone could ever hope to receive. Adyn, who brightened our church and this world with his sweet smile and buoyant personality, will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. It is at times like this, I am most grateful for the words of Jesus who said:

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” – John 11:25

We know that Adyn is with the Lord and happier than he has ever been. We are comforted by the fact that he will never know another moment of pain but will be forever joyful in the presence of a God who loves him completely. We are also comforted by the fact that we will see him again — and when we do, we will know that the sorrow we feel at this time is for us and not for him.

I know I can speak for Dan and Christina in thanking everyone for your prayers and for all the support you offered them through this difficult time. I also know I can count on you to continue to pray for the Weinel family as they deal with this loss.

Yours in Christ’s love,

Bo Weaver
